About

Built by a developer
tired of ugly PDFs.

I built MarkPDF because every tool I tried to export Markdown to PDF either required a LaTeX installation, a complex Pandoc config, or produced output that looked like it was printed in 1998. I write documentation and technical reports in Markdown daily — and I wanted the output to look as good as the writing.

MarkPDF is the tool I wished existed: paste your Markdown, pick a theme that matches your content — a clean Slate for technical documentation, an editorial Paper for longform writing, a dark Duskfor developer-facing reports — and download a PDF that you'd actually be comfortable sending to a client. No configuration. No installation. No LaTeX. Thirty seconds, start to finish.

The app runs entirely in your browser. Your Markdown never leaves your machine until you explicitly export a PDF — and even then, the content is used solely to render the file and immediately discarded. No account, no tracking, no data stored on any server. The free tier gives you 3 exports per month with a small watermark. Pro removes the watermark, unlocks all 8 themes, and costs $5/month — or $19 once, for life.
